i’m having a confusion, if any one can guide a little. I have a 2MB Serial Link to internet say with 202.125.144.0 IP range. Now i am adding a new 2 MB Serial Link with ip range of 84.84.8.0/22.
I have two squid servers with WCCP enabled already which are working fine in 202 ip range. The issue is now i need to route specific trrafic to the second Serial link. How will WCCP deal it, as WCCP will mask all the http requests on its own and will choose the old serial link path.
Will this work , if i add a new squid server with WCCP and give it the ip of 84.94.1.4 .. range and also givr router an ip of 84.94.1.1 and set wccp_router as 84.94.1.4 ?? its getting much confusing ? please if you can’t understand do message, i’ll explain it again.

Try to load balance across the two 2 Mbps Serial links by enabling Policy based routing on the router on which the serial links are terminated. You could classify your traffic according to your requirements and load balance them between the two links by using Policy based routing. To know more about how to configure PBR please refer to the follwing URL.
