Situation: We’re upgrading our circuit from 2Mbps (E1) to 4Mbps. The NM-4T (which supports up to 8Mbps on port 0) seems to be the cheapest way to do this.
My question is – what kind of cable needs to be used to connect this port to the CSU/DSU? The doc’s on the NM-4T say use a “5-in-1″ cable (i.e. DB60-> something), but looking at all of the cable specs they all seem to max out at 2Mbps.

Check the below link for 5-in-1 cable . Its nothing but u can use it for different WAN circuit standards

but my point was that none of these cables specifically says that it can handle an 8Mbps connect speed at any length.
Specifically :

X.21 gives a max speed of T1 (1.5Mbps) over a 15m distance:

I can’t find any documents giving speed recommendations for EIA-530 at all.
So, perhaps I should rephrase the question – what type of cable (and length) do people use to connect two ports running at 8Mbps when their choice is one of the options in a “5-in-1″ cable?
assymetric routing may also cause unknown unicast flooding which is very undesirable
